Days 20 & 21..

I'm still sucking at this every day thing, but oh well...



Jack decided to look at me like this for about 10 minutes yesterday until I decided to play with him.



I'm pretty sure hell froze over this morning... I was laying on the couch when Howie came up and decided to lay down a few feet away from me. Then Jack decided to come up and lay down between us. We all napped on the couch like this for a few hours... its the first time they've ever snuggled. Either hell froze over, or they are starting to like each other.

Days 16-19.. ooops again :)

This my cousin's daughter, Oliva. Its the first time we've seen here since she was about 3 months old. She is crazy active, and LOVED playing with my families dog, Chester.



Oliva, Chester, and Chris all unwrapped Chris' birthday present. (Which ended up being the gift Chris and I brought for my families white elephant)



This picture was taken at Sunday's dinner, but today is actually my Grandpa's 89th birthday and Chris' 25th. :) They are two of the most important people in my life, and I'm glad we got to celebrate their birthdays together.



Last night I went to the shooting range with Chris (shooting) and his friend Nick. It was a lot of fun

Day 15.. our project is finished!

Chris finished our project today. I'm SO happy with it! Now we just need to get our new carpet, which should be installed in a few weeks.

Day 14... Snuggles with my little guy..

Jack and I decided to be lazy (again) today. He decided the most comfortable spot on the entire couch was right on mama. :)

Day 13

It was a pretty lazy day today. Jack decided to curl up in a ball on the couch next to me and sleep like this. Sometimes I think he's special...

We are laying down some linoleum in front of our front door before we get our new carpet installed in a few weeks. We (and when I say we, I mean Chris because I just sit there and watch and pretend like I'm helping.) realized that the linoleum would be lower then the carpet, so we had to put off laying it down until we could get some boards to put under it for some height..... hence why this is what my front door currently looks like until further notice. :)

Day 11.. First day of my new internship!

I would have taken a picture at my new internship, but I didn't want them to think I was crazy!

I got home around mid afternoon, and started to fall asleep on the couch when someone rang the door bell. Chris sent me flowers with a note saying that he was proud of me and my new internship. It really meant a LOT to me. So, today's picture is of my flowers. :)

Days 6-10... Ooops :)

Things the past couple of days have been super crazy and super stressful, which is why I'm just getting around to posting. I forgot to take a picture one day, but oh well.


I took this one while I was at work. We were suuuuper slow and I was bored out of my mind.


Howie sleeps in the closet (Don't mind the mess, the closet isn't big enough)



Jack cuddled with me yesterday morning because Chris had drill this weekend. :)

Day 5 .... Our lazy day

We decided today would be a lazy day. Chris and I slept until almost noon, and we just layed on the couch all day. Jack decided to make his own little bed. :)

Days 3 & 4

Sooo... I totally forgot to post yesterday. Oooops. BUT.. I do have two pictures...



This was my drive into town yesterday. The roads are still horrible and I almost died about 10 times.



Howie and I shared lunch yesterday. I ate the hot pocket, and he attempted to finish off the ranch. He's been eating more and more people food lately, and he's worse at begging then the dog...



Chris and I went downtown tonight to a store called "Posh Pets". It ended up being mostly little fru-fru outfits for purse puppies.. but they did have some treats and toys... soo we spent $45 on treats and toys for Jack. Anyways.. this was downtown TC tonight.

My day was VERY uneventful. All I did was work, and that was beyond stressful. So now, I am at home and snuggled on the couch with Howie and Jack and we're watching Michigan State play Texas Tech in the Valero Alamo bowl.



Right now, the game is tied 7-7 with less then 1 minute left in the first. GO GREEN!!!! :)

And also, this is a picture my husband took at his parent's house today. We only had three of four inches before our snow storm last night...

I've decided to give this whole thing a try. I'm hoping that I will be able to post a picture every day.. but my life is very uneventful. So here we go...

I figured since its my first entry, and the first day of the year, I would post a few pictures..




My mother in law got me the sign "Always Kiss Me Goodnight" with "Ellen and Chris" written in the background. I've been wanting this sign since Chris came home from Iraq in February, so I was SUPER excited about it. Of coarse, that meant Chris had to rearrange the bedroom furniture so the sign and pictures would look right above the bed. :) I love it.



Our first Christmas tree which is coming down this weekend. Chris failed to cut an inch off the stump before we put it up, so it hasn't been absorbing any water.. which means I have pine needles all over my carpet.


Feets... and a nose. :)




Jack was going crazy because we got a few inches of snow today. He goes absolutely nuts in the snow.. I'm hoping one of these days to get a video because its hilarious.
